Dear authors, We are pleased to announce the publication of a Special Issue in the Geološki anali Balkanskog poluostrva, one of the oldest journals about geology of the Balkan Peninsula. The basis of this volume should be comprised of potential contributions from the presentations communicated during the symposium “Travel in Time – Reconstruction of the Tethys’ waning in the Balkans”, but the volume may include other contributions related to the evolution of the Tethys Ocean and the formation of orogenic systems in the Balkans.
